Creamy Carnivore Alfredo Recipe (With Cream Cheese)

1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter (preferably salted)

2-4 oz Cream Cheese (softened)

1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream

1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese (use high-quality, not pre-grated)

Optional: Salt to taste (skip if using salted butter)

Optional (Relaxed Carnivore): A pinch of garlic powder or black pepper 

Instructions

Melt Butter: In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter.

Add Cream Cheese: Add the cream cheese and whisk constantly until it is melted and combined with the butter.

Add Heavy Cream: Slowly pour in the heavy cream while whisking to avoid clumping.

Simmer: Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer (do not boil) for 3-5 minutes, or until it starts to thicken.

Add Parmesan: Remove from heat or turn to low, and stir in the parmesan cheese until smooth and incorporated.

Season & Serve: Season with salt and pepper if desired.
